Earlier this school year we studied about many people who had enough courage to explore our world and change history! The students then wrote, practiced and performed mock interviews about some of these explorers as a way of understanding them more deeply. These videos should be uploaded soon! I hope you enjoy them!

This quarter we have been studying the Mystery Genre in the 5th grade. We have had so much fun reading the books ‘Mystery at the Club Sandwich’ and ‘Grandpa’s Teeth’ as a class as well as ‘The Westing Game’, ‘Chasing Vermeer’ and many others in small groups. We’ve also been planning and writing our own mysteries! The writing traits we focused on were Organization and Sentence Fluency. Please enjoy reading the ones posted by our students below!
